2) I do not really see how fast transportation affects btc at all. AFAIK no part of btc depends on how fast you can transport stuff.
3) On the other hand fast transportation would make "rare" metals unusable as money. There is pretty much endless supply of any given (stable) element in the universe. With teleportation, you could double the amount of base money (the rare metal) in a day making it useless as money.

Audiobooks are great. I can work while listening to a book. Also after a while, you run out of music and podcasts to listen to while working.
Certain books have to actually be read the traditional way. Most belletry doesn't have to be actually read unless you care a great deal about details.
