Wait, where do I sign up? That sounds like fun. Do I need both hands?
Finally found the relays, where egirls reside and I must say I really dont understand all the emotions about it.
Those girls don't hurt anybody and everybody else can curate what they want to see.
"But what about the kids" won't hold either, because any kid that wants to see porn has a bambillion of much easier ways to get to it.
The way I see it, this is not a battle between #boobstr and #prudestr. This is a test of whether we are to accept responsibility for what we see on social media. This is a test of Nostr itself. If we cannot handle that there are relays out there where people can freely post pictures of their bodies, we cannot have Nostr.
Personally, I don't want to see this here, so I am going to unsub from the relays and maybe mute a couple npubs. Thats the price of social media free of big tech curating the feed and I am more than willing to pay the price.
Which one is it this time?
Because I like to know what people I don't agree with actually believe. Reading it in their own words is a really good way to understand where they are coming from.
It's much easier to convince someone to abandon a flawed belief, once you understand why they had it in the first place.
I kind of do actually. It always makes me laugh. I mean it's so cute. when they have to resort to this.
Contact the artist and agree to an individual contract. Buying an NFT is not legally clear as to what kind pf rights are actually being sold.
Especially if I intend to use that art for a commercial activity, just buying the NFT is an incredible risk.
Unless the NFT itself includes a legally binding contract, that specifices the exact details of the deal and unless the buing of an NFT is legally recognized as actually agreeing by all parties to the contract in it, you are just buying bragging rights.
Selling pictures for gazillions, yeah. thst was just a scam. The core idea of NFT however could theoretically prove useful in the future though. For instance decentralized land registry could be nicely done via an NFT technology.
However to be fair, I haven't seen a single NFT project with any kind of real life potential yet and because of NFT pictures, I doubt I will in the foreseeable future.
I found this gem on FB rn. It does seem to be the genuine brand advertising, well, that their sharing box supposedly for four people is not enough for one person.
Can we, please, return to times, when brands would just lie to me, that their stuff is healthy and tasty instead of whatever this is?
The sad part about it is, that nobody even seems to mock them for this botched campaign.

That's probably it. Plebstr added ca 10 relays for me when I joined and haven't made any changes since.
Where fo I even look for new relays?
Nostr.watch lists maybe a hundred but says all are offline and nostr.info lists only ten with non zero amount of events.
Mein Kampf. Don't be inspired. Not really because of who wrote it and such. I mean it's pure and utter trash even if I put the ideology aside.
Seems likely. Still kind of funny.
I too second this. Also it applies to FB too.
I had accounts on Fb since 2009 and Twitter since 2018.
As a regular pleb, I don't get barely any interactions on anything I post on my own. Both of them give an unfair advantage to big names and make it very hard for us plebs to get Independent traction.
On Twitter you can randomly blow up occasionally, if you can curate your posts to comprise more or less of hot takes. Otherwise it's pretty much a roulette.
On FB, organic content outside of focus groups rarely gets any traction at all. Surprisingly enough. that also applies in part to the big names.
In about a month of using Nostr, I have double the amount of followers I ever had on Twitter. And even though I have spent 14 years fairly active on FB, I get more interactions here.
When I shout into the abyss, Nostr gives a regular pleb like me a much better chance of the abyss shouting back.
Well, kind of both.
If you want to attract people that follow you elsewhere you have to provide them something they would want, meaning it should be the same or at least close to what they signed up for elsewhere. However if they can get that thing elsewhere there is no reason to come here.
Off of the top of my head, I could think of only posting previews and highlights elsewhere and publishing full length content here. That is quite a proven concept. (usually done with Patreon, but should work just as well here)
And if that is not an option, you could have something like Behind the scenes of your public persona in here.
I even checked #boobstr and there are like three npubs posting anything even remotely approximating nudity. I am most likely doing it wrong too.
Wtf is this? Is this some kind of inside joke?
