Quick update on what we’ve been up to!
We’re gearing up for our V1 release after just over a year in beta. The entire app logic has been rewritten in Rust to boost performance and scalability. We’re also rolling out a full design and brand overhaul across the app and all our websites.
Huge thanks to all the beta testers who shared feedback—it’s been incredibly helpful and truly appreciated. We’re excited to get V1 into your hands very soon!

"For all required chain data lookups, for each request we randomly select from a list of public Electrum servers which is currently made up of mempool.space, blockstream and bitaroo. In a future update, we will allow users to input a custom list of Electrum servers they would like Clams to use instead. This would allow for using a locally running instance to prevent any metadata from leaving your device. We also recommend using a VPN while using the app so that the public Electrum servers cannot correlate your personal IP address with transaction metadata."
TLDR - option to add your own server is on the roadmap.

Here's how to quickly add your descriptor to Clams with a little help from Sparrow Wallet:
You need to Install and run Lightning Terminal Daemon (litd) on your node.
Once you have litd, then you can use Lightning Node Connect (LNC) to generate a pairing phrase.

We haven't had many reports of issues with the LND connection- we can help you troubleshoot in our Discord if that would be helpful?
As for Coinos - we did get a similar bug report and are going to follow up with their team as we think it might be an implementation issue on their end.
