I’m sorry to hear that— a long time ago, it was an oasis for me.
what’s going on? Different people have different names for me throughout life— perhaps this is a matter of place & time.
yes! If this happens— it will be such a blessing 🎶🔥🔥
yes— I agree. I mute for all kinds of reasons. It’s not aways because I do not like a person— I mute for focus. I logged in once to Nostr & it looked like some Mute Inquisition was going on— it alarmed me.
"Every minute of every hour of every day you are making the world, just as you are making yourself, and you might as well do it with generosity and kindness and style."
-Rebecca Solnit

Cunning as the father of the twelve sons of

I have not. Thank you— listening now. His lyrics always hit the right spot—
my son called me “mama bear.” 🍪🤣
Who says you can’t order chocolate chip cookies at the bar! Watching the Pitt Game 🏈 & enjoying wings & an expresso martini at a favorite spot.
good luck!
And I appreciate you— and will happily cheer you on! One of my best friends at work— makes things— she creates the most useful data walls & other things I don’t care to tinker in. She volunteered me to be on a forms committee— she knows I hate creating forms in excel/sheets— so she said she needed me for the language piece
I admire & rely on all the people who can get the physical work done— developing, making/building, house projects, & so on… Living in a house is a constant battle with nature. I focus the best in small spaces — classroom, rooms with books, museums, etc… ideal room:
looks fantastic! We used to have rose bushes— that was my job as well 🤣 I even checked out a book from the library to teach myself how to care for them. They do get unruly fast— mine in early summer months. We recently had our driveway paved— and the side with the roses— so they are gone.
Once we were hanging paintings— and he was being very precise so I purposely suggested an alternative angel — and he called me an anarchist!
🤣🤣 I would probably suffer the same as you in that situation. Certain tasks— I’m hyper focused & skilled. Others— like painting a room— I end up in tears. I knocked over a can of paint once on our carpet 🫣
yes— and I haven’t read that one yet. Cristina Rivera Garz was also on the list. Great piece— thanks again! Speaking of Moser… he has a new book coming out soon: https://www.benmoser.com/the-upside-down-world/
