Nice!! My son played football for two years & then also did Theatre in HS. I miss those days— going to his plays & musicals. I should tell him to look for something like this in Pittsburgh. He graduated this year— would be nice!

yum! what is this one? I usually stick to expresso or non-sugary options— but I treat myself to a seasonal drink occasionally.

I haven’t read any of the ones selected today— looking forward to checking out the list in more detail soon. You?

Once — during my first trip to West Africa— a long time ago— after landing, I had to fill out paperwork & I only had red pens in my purse. This did not go over well — had to redo the whole form.

yes— but I still enjoy FaceBook & Instagram (not giving up my connections there)— and I know people who still have to use X or choose to engage— so I’m not judging. People need to do what is best for them!! But I feel encouraged by the persistence & care others are putting into developing Nostr & Mastodon (I know the controversy— but decentralization in general fascinates me).

My one year of freedom is approaching

when we went to the science center in Pittsburgh— they have a lego center— she made me design something with her. She would not let me give up. I wanted to go back down to the Mars exhibit & read the Science Fiction stuff— but she was like no— we’re building! 🤣

🤣

my sister would love this— her whole upstairs is filled with the legos for my niece & nephew & for her!

The Booker Prize 2023 shortlist will be announced on Thursday, September 21 🙌🏼📖 https://thebookerprizes.com/the-booker-library/prize-years/2023

It ties into The Rigor of Angels— the nonfiction book I’m currently reading. (The Perpetual Race of Achilles and the Tortoise) Great way to start & end the day. https://www.penguin.co.uk/books/177660/the-perpetual-race-of-achilles-and-the-tortoise-by-borges-jorge-luis/9780141192949
