Well, if I have information that I spent time and effort creating or accumulating, then I wouldnโt be in position to just share it for free. What I consider information is anything that has structure. Image, movie, book, lesson, tutorial, etc.
Public information about facts, sure all should be free in both senses.
Also, if I sell information, I should be able to sell it to anyone who pays, not restricted by some rules and regulations (liberty)
