Surviving the Fiat Apocalypse

OST by Goblin is ๐Ÿ˜™๐Ÿ‘Œ

"They found a new way to not only Kick The Can down the road, Stablecoins, allow them to put The Can into a fucking Trebuchet and launch that son-of-a-bitch 4 or 5 Miles away, all in one shot." ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ great description

"Out-of-Band" Miner Bribes.

These alternative economic incentives threaten Bitcoin's Proof-of-Work Security Model.

Bitcoiners, repeat after me:

THIS IS MY NODE

THERE ARE MANY LIKE IT

BUT THIS ONE IS MINE

WITHOUT MY NODE, I AM NOTHING

WITHOUT ME, MY NODE IS NOTHING

This is the Noderunner's Creed. #Bitcoin

You are underestimating our influence. All we need is an Intolerant Minority of Users (Nodes) willing to UASF to #FixTheFilters

It's becoming more apparent by the Block that UASF may become necessary to #FixTheFilters.

Nodes (Users) have had to deal with dishonest Miners in the past, and we may need to do so again in the future.

"Bitcoin users might get increasingly tyrannical about limiting the size of the chain so it's easy for lots of users and small devices." -Satoshi Nakamoto

If you don't understand UASF, you don't understand the power dynamics at play within Bitcoin. And pretending otherwise just makes you look foolish.

Sats vs Bits is an old debate being rehashed to distract from the actual issue at hand, which is the divergent design philosophies of Core vs Knots. Blindly updating software is never recommended.
