Good morning nostr, time for coffee again, and i'm sippin on mine as i think about the day ahead. I'm trying to think of what we'll cook for the Saturday family visit, and i'm leaning toward the same thing as last weekend. We went to the local meat market and got a couple of large roasts that i cooked in the crockpot, shredded the next day, then had shredded beef tacos to serve. Everyone loved it, since i made homemade salsa and avocado sauce to put on it. Its a good, inexpensiven way to feed a crowd, plus it goes a long way as tacos. It seems that a recurring theme when exploring the edges of freedom of speech is that many folks believe that since speech can influence the thoughts and actions of those who consume it, we should consider second and third order effects of speech to be harm for which the original speaker is responsible.

I don't see how anyone can fit that concept into a workable framework that doesn't devolve to the point at which saying mean or critical things is equated to violence because hurting someone's feelings is harmful.

Looking for a popular-level book on quantum physics, just a fun, informative read. Any suggestions?
