Hansel isn’t always as deep a bite as Reaper, but he has solid canine bites and thrashes and pulls like crazy. Funny thing is he is our sweetest family dog around. So loving and happy to just be with the family.

While I don’t believe dogs need to use a “full mouth bite”, I do believe they need a solid and strong bite. Targeting a moving arm is a skill and you have to develop the skill as the dog develops. Don’t rush things, build them.

Are your dogs good with cats? We get this question all the time. Not every one of my dogs is ok with cats, but the majority of them are. We keep the outside cats around for mouse control and dog training. BTW, the correction was because Freya wanted to eat the cat food.
