The Norwegian location of Sandefjord and Imingfjell were the setting for 🐣 2023. The pictures were taken with #Pentax ME Super 1981 model and #fujifilm. The same camera was used on the sailing trip to the West Indies 40 years ago. Photos from that trip can be seen at www.transatlantic.no ⛵️🏝️🌊

Night Watch
I have 3 hours of steering ahead of me. The Doors is put on the Walkman. Now it’s just me and The Doors awake. The wind sings along with the music and The Doors is getting a new feel to it. We cruise through the night at 6 knots quite routinely.
A look over my shoulder reveals dark clouds. It looks like a squall is in the offing. Five minutes pass and the wind has increased to 18-19 m/s and it’s time to sit and steer. We have increased the speed to 8 knots, and it is roaring around the hull. The Doors music volume is set higher.»
Riders of the Storm is the perfect soundtrack to the black night out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
