I've experienced this also Guy. I just plugged my nsec into Alby and then re-launched nostrgram and approved the connection. It's a bit flaky and slow for me but it is working.

Sure would love to see a rollover/popup Profile Card when I hover on the username in a post header within the feed. To see if I'm following/being followed/follow+- functionality (ala the birdapp 🙏).

Since 2010 I have gotten a new Android phone every single year, except one year. I didn't get the Pixel 4 three years ago.

Your issue is that you mentioned Samsung. Samsung is an actual piece of flaming shit that bastardizes their great hardware with the worst software across the entire mobile landscape. It's horrible. Their software has gotten better, slightly, over the past decade.

I have only used Google Nexus / Google Pixel since the Nexus 4, for the most part. I'm a stock Android / Google Experience Maxi. Prior to that, I used the Moto X and Moto X 2014 and originally the HTC Droid Incredible rooted and ROMed to remove HTC shitty UI.

My kids wife and kids both keep their Pixels for 2-3 years and then we get new ones when the promotion is right. I only get a new one because I'm an Android Maxi and get FOMO without having the latest and greatest.

Interesting thread.

I'm mainly a desktop guy and don't do much Nostr...ing on my phone.

But I've been trying to cope with a cheap LG Prime android phone given to me when ATT summarily cancelled my beloved Moto from their 5G network. The LG is hopelessly slow and has insufficient storage, just driving me mad. I have several older iPhones but I just don't get along with iOS. So I've just ordered a Pixel 6 refurb and hope I can get it to work for me.

Any advice on the transfer sim process? I hope to avoid the ATT store doing this.

When making your new Bitcoin user List, you may wish to search also for BTC, Hodl, etc to include more than the "top 100" in your custom feed.

So on strike you can deposit dollars and withdraw via lightning but buy Bitcoin and can't do a lightning withdrawal? Wtf?

I've been using Strike for over 2 years and I mostly love it. I deposit USD and then can send BTC directly to my self-custody wallets by simply paying to my own bitcoin addresses. I buy goods from vendors who accept Bitcoin with my Strike balance. I receive invoices and Zaps from Nostr tips via Strike.army LNurl directly into my Strike account. It's fast, versatile, and cheap to use.

Sadly their connection to my online ACH bank (ALLY) via Plaid is currently broken, and they haven't been able to fix it for almost a month. Major Bummer.

YMMV but I hope to keep using Strike. And btw, Jack Mallers, creator of Strike (jack@strike.me) is one of my favorite bitcoin maxis.

The heavens are filled with billions of stars of various compositions and sizes, each an enormous distance from the next and all spread out across a vastly empty multi-dimensional expanse. And they're moving.

Now, chart the stars you can see from earth as accurately as you can onto a flat planar projection of the visible sky. Then draw straight lines from one to the next as if they actually were in that plane, to form crude shapes of constellations named after randomly selected gods and beasts.

This brings an understanding roughly comparable to that derived from TA market analysis. It's not astrophysics it's astrology, it's not method it's mumbojumbology.

Still, many otherwise sane investors depend on it to make their decisions.
