I sure don't think so Paulo. But...
The heavens are filled with billions of stars of various compositions and sizes, each an enormous distance from the next and all spread out across a vastly empty multi-dimensional expanse. And they're moving. Now, chart the stars you can see from earth as accurately as you can onto a flat planar projection of the visible sky. Then draw straight lines from one to the next as if they actually were in that plane, to form crude shapes of constellations named after randomly selected gods and beasts.
IMO this brings an understanding roughly comparable to that derived from TA market analysis. It's not astrophysics it's astrology, it's not method it's mumbojumbology. Still, many otherwise sane investors depend on it to make their decisions. So who knows?
Wen moon is surely still far up and away from here, but I still like to watch these charts. ๐
Do you believe in Technical Analysis?
Bitcoin price is currently up 69% Year-to-date
The 20week moving average has crossed above the 200 week moving average
TradeView's TA Analysis meter indicates "Strong Buy"

Well I'm still wandering back over to Twitter occasionally... like today I was over there trying to find pizza vendors who accept lightning payments. I was hoping to zap me a deep dish for dinner tonight w/o using Visa. But no, I'm not paying 10k BTC for it. ๐

Nopeum #Bitcoin - Only for me thankyou. ๐
I'm not a Muun wallet user, but I'm interested in any responses to your note. Are you experiencing problems with the current mempool backlog perhaps? What lightning tx issues with Muun?
According to ChatGPT:
Lightning Addresses are not actually email addresses, and they cannot be used to send or receive emails. Instead, they are simply a way to receive payments in Bitcoin's Lightning Network. While it's possible that we may see more companies and individuals using Lightning Addresses in the future, it's unlikely that we'll be sending Bitcoin via email anytime soon.
Ok, thanks G

Oh? So it's mostly whales and OG's at the renaissance fair then?
Who knew?
Cool.
It may be easy to poke fun at Ferdinand Foch Jason. But some people say he was also the namesake for the world renowned Foch University of Useful Idiots (aka Foch U).
When will autonomous AI start taking Bitcoin in payment for research/advice/design services etc? And what will happen when it begins to use that income to buy more Bitcoin?

Even though; Despite the fact; and IDC
Indeed. Good for the miners I suppose, but I find it depressing to see this. And it happens a lot. It can't be good for adoption to allow/encourage such inefficient use of the most powerful network on the planet. ๐
And yet many continue to make small transactions on chain for totally outrageous fees? I must wonder which tools default to allow such misuse and who is using them?

Interesting to see where the uncensored AI will go. Are you not... entertained; afraid; amused?

I want to be hopeful about all this... that AI will be more positive for humanity in the hands of FOSS devs as opposed to Big Tech $ystems Inc. ๐ค
Speaking of task evasion. When we zap or buy things directly with Bitcoin. Are those taxable events?
Technically so. If you convert/sell/gift BTC worth more than you paid for it, there is a capital gain which is taxable in the US. The tax laws are a bit fuzzy on small amounts though... talk to your accountant.
Appreciating Precious Coins
In January 2017 I bought 1 gold Maple Leaf coin, and 20 Silver Eagle coins from a leading dealer at a total purchase price of $1,603.89. Today with gold celebrating a new ATH, I priced these same coins again same dealer, at $3012.29. I still have the coins, and although I couldn't sell them for quite as much as today's quoted price, this represents an approximate gain of 88% (nearly twice what I paid for them). Not bad (if you ignore inflation).
I also bought my 1st Bitcoin on that same day in 2017, for $792.87. I still have that coin also but I won't sell it today either, even though I easily could, at a gain of approximately 3632% (36 times what I paid for it).
