About Hungarians and Hungary - Next time want to share some information about a very important person in the #bitcoin and #crypto era. But - to understand the background - before this, let me share infos about the Hungarian Revolution in 1956. The symbol of this revolution is the Hungarian flag with a hole, because there were brave men, who cut the coat of arm of "socialism" from it.
Hungary was the member of the infamous "Eastern Block". This means that Hungary was quasi occupied by the Soviet army and there was a total control on Hungary by the Sovietunion, especially by Stalin.
In 23th Ocober, 1956 began the Hungarian revolution against this dictatorship . And the people toppled the Stalin's Statue in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
BTW: Elvis Presley collected donations and money for the Hungarians.
Unfortunately the revolution ended on 4th November, when the Soviet terror drowned the revolution in blood, and a lot of people have been executed.
And during and after the revolution many Hungarian people emigrated to foreign countries, e.g. the USA.

About Hungarians any Hungary - Today's post is only partly about the Hungarians, only about the Hungarian aspect:
The name "László Hanyecz" may not be familiar to everyone - but his roots are also Hungarian, at least based on his name.
And even though it's only a few days away, the Pizza-Day celebrated every year is familiar to all Bitcoin fans.
Yes, László Hanyecz was, who ordered two "cheese and supreme" pizzas from Papa John's pizzeria back in 2010 for 10,000 BTC.
The significance of this is not only that it was the two most expensive pizzas in the world, but it was the first "real-word" purchase, when someone tested whether it was possible to get something for bitcoins. Maybe two pizzas. Today that's worth about $270 million...
