i actually am just starting to learn nosql/mongo and it’s already starting to make more sense to me. i guess that means my brain is pretty chaotic haha.

that probably has something to do with why i dislike it some much. i’m super noobish and inefficient when writing it.
i think what i dislike about it is that it feels ancient to write. bc it is ancient. i also have to use t-sql daily which doesn’t help.
this is the thing that confuses me. this idea that altcoin folks would use bitcoin if only they could peg bitcoin into their alt of choice and then peg it back to bitcoin when they’re finished. i just don’t see the use case for that. altcoiners seem to use coins as speculative assets, which, and correct me if i’m wrong bc i’m still pretty new, seems to be a direct contradiction to the ethos of btc. idk i mean if it gets implemented whatever i just don’t think there’s demand for it in anyway, or at least not to the degree that the folks pushing it seem to think.
anybody else work with data regularly but absolutely detest SQL?

super fascinating stuff. i appreciate the simplicity in the way that this is presented. nostr:npub15f52rwxq0cv5v7qn0zxghpwc9deprtlr52uk4uuhxt4s0z7zx7gsvfux44 excellent stuff!
i’m not convinced by the supposed allure of sidechains. most altcoiners seem at best apathetic and at worst hostile towards bitcoin. not convinced that, were BIP-300 & 301 to be adopted, it would change much of anything.
not a vote for or against, just my observation.
