It’s a network & platform with an absolutely insane amount of people on it. IMO, saying we should all just abandon it and leave the iPhoners with no options is like saying we should write the best book in the world but refuse to print a version in English.
In addition, I love my MacBook M1. Apple makes awesome hardware. The iPhone on the other hand is replaceable, it’s good, but nothing magical. There are some great android devices too. The Mac hardware however is extremely hard to beat, their application ecosystem is hugely valuable especially for media production, and Windows as an alternative OS is just a joke, imo.
