yep that bottom paragraph sums it up. if they’re not cool w staying away from the corners of the world that they don’t like and want a corp or a government to do it for them, nostr is not for them. full stop. not everyone is going to make it.

yeah like american/western media tends to skew pro-israel, particularly on the right. people think this is an example of media narratives trying to direct the will of the population but they don’t realize like 98% of the world fucking hates israel and is very anti-israel. pro-israel narratives are the exception, not the rule. but americans tend to view everything thru an americanized lens. “it’s happening here, therefore this is the reality everywhere” or something like that.
some of the responses from folks i follow kind of concerned me. they seem very skeptical of media narratives until those narratives happen to align with their beliefs. then the narratives are treated as confirmation.
