There are days when I want to beat people on here with a wiffle bat.

There are days the topic at hand makes me want to fling my phone in disgust.

There are days I’m convinced this whole thing is run by idealistic idiots and it’s all doomed.

There are days when I swear if I hear “bitcoin fixes this” posted on one more random topic, that I will personally light my relay on fire and dance a tribal jig around it while it burns.

There are days when the people here are the only ones willing to fucking listen to what I’m going through.

There are days when questions I’ve pondered for years get answered by a nostrian I’ve never met.

There are days where breathtaking feats of design and software engineering are accomplished in 1/10 the time it should have.

There are days where the corn people are the ones who step up to help a soul in need.

For all its ups and downs, Nostr has become HOME. Damus is the one app I cannot imagine not having on my phone. Two of my friends on here are more likely to check on me on any given day than my mother.

So if you ever see me with a wiffle bat, please give me some grace. It is home, and I love it, but I will still beat it like me and my brother used to do to one another when I think it’s acting a fool.
