Wife, mom x 4, retired dentist, bitcoiner.

I was feeling a little sad about not going to Miami this year. While I genuinely miss seeing so many friends I adore, I’m happy to have missed things like this….

That is the best we can do for them I think. My parents are roughly the same age and have gone from world travelers who hiked daily to basically home bound in less than 3 years. It is startling.

I’m so sorry, That must have been incredibly difficult.

Neither of my parents are at hospice stage yet, but both are dealing with numerous health issues. It’s your “being a parent to your parent” statement which I was not expecting and find so hard. My brilliant and fiercely independent parents have become needy of me(which I don’t mind), but are resentful of being needy.

GM and an fyi…no matter how mentally prepared you think you are for your parents getting older and dealing with health issues, you are probably not prepared 🥺

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Nostr mamas out there! I’m so thankful to have spent the day with these four who made me a mama.

My husband says this all the time.

Gm and happy Friday #coffeechain

Against the grain

Thank you! It’s not a filter. Window behind me + sun ☀️

PV! I’m at the office extra early for a big case and the sun is shining.

Tell me something you love.

I just learned that I have been pronouncing sherbet wrong my hole life.

You have the right to bare feet. #footstr
