Wife, mom x 4, retired dentist, bitcoiner.

$2.75 for my delicious shrimp & cheese, and two bean & cheese pupusas for dinner last night. Eating the leftovers for breakfast this morning. I couldn’t eat at a gas station in the US for that price.

As Elon Musk once said….GFY!

Sorry you can’t sleep.

Long. Over 15 hours with my layover in LA. Non stop flights are one of the biggest things I miss about Atlanta.

Ngl the 6 hour time difference between El Salvador and Hawaii is rough. I can’t sleep!

Because of the number of patients I will be seeing, I will not be able to extract 4 wisdom teeth on 1 patient. Only emergency extractions/abcesses this time. Sorry!

Once the clinic is open, I can extract them for you.

This Sunday in Zonte

Building a community medical & dental clinic + pharmacy to serve El Zonte and surrounding communities of 12k. Currently you need to go to La Libertad for these services which is 30mins away by bus.

Our 10 casitas to house the medical volunteers for the clinic are almost complete 🄰

No community medical clinic, dental clinic and pharmacy I am helping to build.

The future home of Ocean Health in El Zonte. God willing construction will begin in 2024.

It really is so much easier to pay your bill in sats. I look forward to the day that it’s the standard.

Buenos dĆas!

Don’t get me going. We spend more on healthcare than any other nation by far and take 65% of all the rx meds worldwide but score poorly on almost every health metric

Hey Hallmark, I've got a movie for you!

Ben, a rugged oilman in his 30s, is struggling to keep his oil operation afloat. The business, inherited from his father, is the backbone of the community, but it's on the brink of collapse due to years of financial strain.

Enter Emily, a sharp and sophisticated executive from the "big city". Undercover, she's scouting for potential land for her company's Bitcoin mining operation. Her target: the very land Ben is fighting to preserve. Their worlds collide when they meet under Emily's guise as a lost horseback rider on Ben's land.

As Jake and Emily spend more time together, sparks fly amidst the backdrop of the charming rural landscape and cute townsfolk. Emily, enchanted by the town's simplicity and Ben's genuine nature, finds herself torn between her mission and her growing feelings. The duo embarks on quintessential small-town dates, the highlight being a romantic sunset horseback ride on Ben's ranch, offering her a glimpse into a life vastly different from her own.

Their budding romance faces a huge hurdle when Ben accidentally overhears Emily's conversation with her bosses about their plan for his land. Feeling betrayed, he confronts her, leading to a heated argument. Unable to reconcile her professional obligations with her personal feelings, Emily returns to the city with a heavy heart.

Back at her company headquarters, Emily uncovers her company's plans to aggressively pursue the foreclosure of Ben's land. This revelation, combined with her growing disillusionment with corporate life (especially compared to small town charms), leads to an epiphany: her true happiness (and heart) lies not in the corporate world but in the small town she left behind!

Determined to right her wrongs, Emily returns to the small town to apologize to Ben. Together, they devise a plan to integrate flare gas Bitcoin mining into the oil operation, and presenting a new, sustainable business model to the local bank. Their proposal is well-received, breathing new life into Ben's business, and stave off a potential foreclosure.

In a bold move, Emily quits her job, choosing to start a new life and a new Bitcoin mining business with Ben. The end 🧔

I’m at LAX and the Asian couple beside me asked the ticketing agent where the sleeping lounge was located. When the agent replied, ā€œWe don’t offer anything like that hereā€ they seemed very confused and after some discussion finally responded, ā€œSleeping pods are fine then.ā€

LMAO. All I could think is ā€˜Toto, you aren’t in Asia anymore.’

I prefer a public square that doesn’t have secret algorithms that suppress voices.
