Like Bitcoin itself, the Bitcoin Artist Guild is a voluntary, opt-in collective of Artists that create Bitcoin-themed artworks as well as Bitcoin art-focused businesses. We’re launching with 17 Artists and 2 Businesses as Members!
The purpose of the Guild is to encourage a Bitcoin-positive code of conduct among our Members, collaboratively support each other in our individual artistic careers, and form an organization to provide benefits to our Members.
As the name “Bitcoin Artist Guild” implies, we are “Bitcoin only”. Our Members agree with and abide by our Member Pledge which outlines our agreed code of conduct in relation to collaboration among each other as well as creation, promotion, and distribution of Bitcoin artworks.
The Guild organization provides certain Member Benefits to all dues-paying Members. Monthly dues are transparently derived directly from the costs of these benefits as well as a small amount of padding for various expenses such as taxes and fees.
Any excess income beyond expenses is stacked as sats in our Guild Treasury. These savings will be used for future expansion of benefits and potential one-off expenses such as grants, sponsorships, and more.
The Guild is governed by its Members and operated by its Directors. Members may suggest initiatives for vote and each Member gets one vote in any governance decision put to the Members by the Directors.
Initiatives for vote would include items such as adding new ongoing Member Benefits, approving large expenses from the Guild Treasury, and other ongoing important decisions. The Guild is run by its Members, for its Members.

Forgotten whispers of stories once bold,
Lost to the ravages of time and space.
The guardians of knowledge, statues in stone,
Stand sentinel to a fading legacy,
Their watchful gaze, now weary and lone,
Witnessing the demise of intellectual majesty.
In the hushed corridors, echoes lament,
For the wisdom that once lit the way,
Now succumbs to neglect, its vitality spent,
As the library of all ages falls into decay.
Yet amidst the ruins, a flicker remains,
A spark of hope in the darkness profound,
For even as wisdom wanes and wanes,
New minds arise, with knowledge unbound.
So let us preserve what remains to be told,
