There isn't really a good bunker app yet. You could use NSEC bunker (custodial, you have to share your private keys with them), Amber (never worked for me), or nak. Nak is the only thing that works, but it's confusing if you're not like really into this stuff, and you have to keep it running in a terminal in the background to sign events. This a major area for improvement in the Nostr ecosystem:
Ditto is on Nostr but federates to the Fediverse via nostr:npub1d03clrrrma7mlpxm0mz2dehmhkx3nh9rhxqwltgctpwyduztymustepzfs, and also implements Mastodon API for app compatibility.

Under the hood, it's the same as Nostr with some Mastodon-flavored bells and whistles. You own your keys, etc.

People are the main reason other people join social media. If they have a connection you, that's your in. Once they have their account, they can learn the details later.)

Ultimately if they are behaving in a woman-friendly way and not causing problems, they can probably get away with it. That's the trade-off of being more open and protecting user privacy.

Once you log in to Henhouse, go to https://henhouse.social/settings/identity to reserve your username. Switch your NIP-05 once approved to have your posts included in the local timeline!
You can still respond on the local feed, but if you want your posts to show up there for others to see then you need to use a henhouse NIP-05: https://henhouse.social/settings/identity
You can own multiple NIP-05 ids, but only one can be applied to your profile at once, so yes it will also change it on other clients.
