Okay, so if you create a new account on ditto.pub with a new IP - does the logging in/out issue you were initially talking about still happen? (I'm trying to narrow down what this could be caused by, because I agree it's a bad problem!)

I've never heard this issue before or seen it before on any Ditto server... (And I'm logged into many accounts on many Dittos across multiple devices). If you make a new npub does the issue persist? Or is it just with this npub?
Better is good, but it's not always the case that what is technically, objectively better software wins. Social platforms win or lose by the network effect: where the people are.
Sometimes people join platforms because they are "better", but sometimes it's just timing and what was available to fill a specific need at a specific moment in time. All of the different projects on Nostr set us up to be prepared to fill needs where they arise, and that matters for the moment when lightning (ha) strikes.
