🇯🇵 In Japan, approximately 100,000 people disappear each year in a phenomenon known as jōhatsu (‘evaporation’).
Strict work culture, social stigma around quitting jobs, and lack of support drive people to vanish as an escape.
So-called 'night moving' companies help them disappear without a trace and start a new life somewhere else.

Back in ‘93, Czechoslovakia split into Czechia and Slovakia. And while Czech music kind of pickled itself in its own history, Slovak artists smashed the borders and have been at least one level ahead ever since.
SIMILIVINLIFE is either gonna be Slovakia’s Justin Timberlake in two years, stay in the club underground, or (which I’m betting on) carve out his own club-pop lane.
Either way, I’m all in.
