I‘m usually super introvert on trains, but yeah, sometimes it turns out pretty cool. 👥
Sure, AJ, you do that .)
You know that situation when someone sits next to you on a train and you’re like, oh my, I hope they won’t want to talk… cut… two hours later that 60-something lady is your new best friend. 😂
We had the best conversations about life, and we even exchanged our Bibles. How Sunday is that?

Most Christians I met act as if there were still a list of rules - things to do and not to do, a right-or-wrong attitude - as if Calvary never happened.
The churches need more table flipping, and so do I.

That‘s one cool artwork 👨🏻🎨
As someone who used to use the Airbnb platform several times a year, I’ve noticed a clear decline in the quality of service - both from hosts and from the platform itself when support is needed.
But the level of gaslighting I experienced over the past few days was something entirely new to me. It left me seriously considering whether I should stop using the platform altogether.
I remember during covid, economists predicted that the side effects of the crisis would appear years later - and that a drop in service quality would be one of them (which we already see in gastro for some time now).
So I guess this is it.
I’m always trying to improve my services as I raise my prices, because that feels like the right and natural thing to do.
I just can’t understand people who go like - my costs are rising, so here is my shitty and overpriced service - and be grateful I’m even still offering it.
F that.
Here is a nice pic as an apology to you to have to witness my frustration. 😁

Something like that might be a way to get Nostr out there.
There is! Affinity 💜
I moved away from Adobe as a professional designer 5 years ago and I am very happy with the Affinity products.
There are alternatives for the key adobe products:
Photoshop < Photo
Illustrator < Designer
Indesign < Publisher

I remember writing this cute non-tech article in September 2023 called “Nostr: Bitcoiners, Christians and nude girls” 🤘🏻😁

I wish you to find the balance soon! Goin broke is no fun, but I believe if you find the right people and projects, it can be done. I like your art btw 💜
If you want stories: John Steinbeck
Light pieces: Tortilla Flat, The Wayward Bus
Heavier stuff: The Grapes of Wrath (Pulitzer Prize for this one)
If you want philosophy: Søren Kierkegaard
Only read one thing so far, The Sickness unto Death, and it helped me through some serious existential crisis. (I recommend to search for some interpretations, youtube videos will do, since it‘s written in classic philosophy language which is not easy to grasp)
If you want something practical: nostr:nprofile1qqsd4dkxqewy8xum47ctpu0ltgxxsfemeewpjkdyzk9ddfcg286s0dspzdmhxue69uhk7enxvd5xz6tw9ec82c30qyd8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytn6v43x2er9v5hxxmr0w4jz7jkhgq8 wrote a bunch of great books, for example Cryptocurrencies – Hack your way to a better life
