If you want to keep privacy, don't choose the zap but instead send a regular lightning tip to the user. Zap for public view, regular lightning tip for privacy :)
Some whales maybe probably choose anon tip than zap 😄
Based on follows of follows. I can get your follow feeds without following them. Basically, my trust is you follow 'good' or 'interesting' people so i can also interact with them. Friends of my friends. 1 degree of tree separation.
Combine with nostr.mom, i will follow new additional people thus expand filter.nostr.wine network again
Like #[4] said you need a domain and server so people can tip/zap you. That's the point of LNURL.
I will make an experiment using cheap VPS and free domain that i can use. Probably write a tutorial later.

Well, agree with that. Currently most people background probably around technical users who loves bitcoin and nostr which actually have similar vision, freedom. Freedom in money and freedom in speech.
And nostr protocol development only rise much recently, so we can safely assume early users topic mostly about that. Try to lurk in global chat a bit more, and you can find other topic. Shitpost or jokes is not problem. I only hate spam though, especially ads spam 😄

Depends on lightning channel size between lightning node. I have seen channel with 2 BTC capacity for sending or receiving.
You can check channel size using amboss.space or 1ml.com
Enable free public relay like nostr.mom that have some spam filter for global feed helps me find different kind of people.
Or another public relay which doesn't have spam filter but we implement spam filter in the client side :)
It depends on what nostr clients. Nostr clients like Amethyst, Damus, snort.social, iris.to , nostrgram.co have notification menu in their apps
No, nostr is text protocol. People only post their image link. Nostr client will show it as avatar or image content.

Well, i can see it will be happened when most users practically trust it for simplicity because it often gives quite a good response. Slowly, users will become lazy to cross check.
You can use Amethyst. Amethyst support public group chat. Another option is Nostros.
