I like his view on this. I have read several papers in psychology and cognitive science how this concept works. Practically, using neural network or AI can interpret some of those signal (brain waves) to describe "what is happening in our mind?"
I'm glad that you have overcome those bad situations. As long as you're happy and grateful with those decision, it's okay. :)
Although not very similar, i've once experience a bit financial trouble, two years ago, me and my family got covid and needs quite a costly treatment. Thankfully, i can spend some of my sats to cover the cost. I didn't regret a bit to spend those sats in times of need.
