"Freedom of speech is being able to tell someone else something they don't want to hear." "No matter what you say, someone is going to be offended." "Once you realize that politicians are not altruistic, and that they're in politics for themselves and their own personal gain, then everything makes sense." "No one is above the law." "Have you ever met a poor politician?"

Are the people williing to stand up and revolt?

Or will they take the US route, and "just live with it"...even though everyone knows the election was stolen...

Those "enforcers" are just govenment workers...same with any government worker in any country...

Still...you're right--if those people would stand up and say "no" this would all come to an end...

But we do the exact same thing in the US -

Ah...just like the US...

Betting the same result happens though--despite the evidence, the steal will be "certified", news will gaslight everyone, and people will "settle" and move on with their lives.

"Nothing I can do..."

What's up with the host checking his phone? Talk about rude...

(Super pet peeve of mine--PUT THE PHONE DOWN!!)

Tough to tell what I'm watching...??

GM Nostr!

Nice cool morning today! A bit of a break from the hot weather we've been having! 😃

Goes perfect with a hot cup of Raktajino!

I'm sure there are some (like yourself) that may be trying to make a difference...

Most however are on the dole--interested only in doing the least amount of work, not caring about the work they do, and having a salary that far exceeds their worth to society...all in exchange for a vote.

Sorry, but it's true. And it's readily apparent to anyone that's has any interaction at all with government "workers".

I once applied for a government job...I was literally told by the hiring manager that II was too results and achievement oriented and my work ethic wouldn't fit in with the culture there, as it was "slower"...

Government is the problem...and government workers are de facto the root of the problem...

Did you watch Lummis and Scott?

Truly embarrassing...

Maybe they're smarter than first blush, but they really came across as a couple of babbling, giggling empty suits...trying to say what they thought people wanted to hear.

Contrast with Snowden--who (without any audience interaction) was thoughtful, bright, insightful and compelling.

Lummis and Scott were a clown show....

Was it a perfect speech? No...

Could he have done better? Yes...

Does he have a depth of knowledge in BTC? No...

Did he know his audience? No...

Was there too much campaigning? Yes...

Has he done a 180 from his earlier stance on BTC? Yes...

Yet...

Are his talking points good for BTC? Yes...

Is it good to have BTC front and center as an issue in the election? Yes...

And...

Can we trust if Trump gets elected he will follow through? Maybe...

Was this speech good for BTC? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!

GM Nostr!

Have to wait for the coffee to finish brewing...they say "a watched pot never boils"...

No comparision with waiting for the coffee pot...

(sigh)
