Over the past few months, I’ve been unable to maintain the nostr:nprofile1qqsxn2q9vlnek6umcu5z44v42yklpwqy0prpd0kmvg7pytadgg9zvdgeldk34 wallet or keep up with Cashu protocol changes due to personal circumstances.
This has unfortunately led to users losing funds because of critical bugs or mint incompatibility. The fast-evolving cashu ecosystem requires consistent commitment, which I failed to provide.
I’m not leaving the project. I love both eNuts and the ecash community—but the timing hasn’t been right for me to contribute recently.
I’m confident I can stabilize the wallet and upgrade to the latest mandatory #Cashu specs during Q1 2025. Until then, I recommend using the latest beta version, currently available only on Android.
iOS users should move their funds out of the wallet and uninstall it immediately.

Development and new features are great, but nothing beats main chain layer 1 transactions. All the fee fearmongerers should stay away. I truly value the security and reliability of main chain and I’m willing to pay the fees to keep the corn 😂🫡 that said it’ll be exciting to see what else gets developed. I’ve lost 1.5+ million sats with nuts and ecash. I haven’t lost a sat except to fees on main chain.
But I wish you the best of luck! The network will only get better over time with new features and iterations of development, but at least we have a strong foundation to build on.
