- trying to ban the 2nd most popular party in the name of democracy is a sick joke. are these people completely insane?
- the term "fascism" is meaningless in common usage. In particular it gets attached to anyone "right wing" while in fact fascism is literally socialism. eg, you know, "National Socialism.."
- if anything is "fascist" it is the legal persecution of CJ Hopkins and others by the german state, for criticising their policies. People have literally been arrested for mocking politicians!

Yes, war has to be the easiest way to control a people - and I guess its not limited to the hot phase where you demonise your enemy because you're fighting them etc, but its then natural to build on that deception to make a peacetime control structure.
I only just really started to appreciate this, particularly in respect of ww2. When you've seen how the state lies to further its interest even in something like covid, when we have the internet and the truth can now get out, its easy to see how total their control would have been after ww2 - and how irresistible the temptation to use that.
I honestly think its a question of mutual respect.
I don't like that they want to be slaves but I'm not going to put myself above them and tell them how they should live their lives - because what do I know.
Of course the problem comes that they don't always show me the same respect and try to enforce their preference for bondage on me. So, fuck them if they do that but otherwise none of my business.
I don't care about them. I'll give them a chance to wake up but if they genuinely don't want to, then who am I to say I'm right and they're wrong. But we can't have any sort of relationship - that becomes obvious to me now.
