Currently in every V4V app I’ve seen it’s donation based so devs and content creators seemingly can’t reliably project how much, if any, money they’ll receive. I’m not sure what changed but even Damus used to not be able to allow zapping posts directly so it would seem even the AppStore’s are against V4V. I’m not a hater but it seems like V4V is “nice to have” but not yet something to bet your family’s income on yet. Do we get there eventually or am I thinking about this from the wrong perspective?

If they implement something and it’s overwhelmingly successful then it should be considered. Copying a feature for no real reason is a great way to build technical debt and fade into obscurity.
