Are tether private equity investments part of the dollar peg mechanism or just from company profits?

Only selling locally for now. Havenât figured out how to ship. Selling for $10/loaf in sats.
DM sent. Got it up and running. Itâs definitely an alpha version with a couple test posts. https://nostr-circlecon.vercel.app
Awesome, appreciate the feedback. Maybe they could post a supplier post on there so they can get more merchants? Not sure how youâd feel about that since other merchants would technically be your competitors.
Those are mine lol. To show examples. Although I do bake and sell sourdough so I would like to find a small batch supplier of flour. đ
But that design tho..

I can get what I have so far up and running somewhere tonight. Iâll ping you when itâs live. Itâs pretty basic right now. Nothing super flashy yet.
Follow-up question. Do your suppliers accept sats? Maybe they would be interested in creating a classified for their supplies so other merchants could find them?

It works the same on the supplier side.
Example: I make sourdough bread and sell it for sats to my customers. Iâd like to pay my flour suppliers in sats as well. I create a listing on this app and a supplier whoâs sees my listing can contact me to set up a deal.
Is this something you all would use? Would you even want to pay for your ingredients in sats? Or have you already found your suppliers and arenât looking for new ones?

Maybe even a reverse merger. No big conspiracy, it just kind of makes sense. XXI wants to be more than a just a treasury company but has no products. Strike has the products and is profitable but doesnât have the treasury and public standing to be huge fast. Same CEO.
Hereâs a script for your familyâs secret Santa

const shuffled = [...names]
for (let i = shuffled.length - 1; i > 0; i--) {
const j = Math.floor(Math.random() * (i + 1));
[shuffled[i], shuffled[j]] = [shuffled[j], shuffled[i]]
}
const assignments = []
for (let i = 0; i < shuffled.length; i++) {
const giver = shuffled[i]
const receiver = shuffled[(i + 1) % shuffled.length]
assignments.push({ giver, receiver })

return assignments

const assignments = createSecretSanta(names)
assignments.forEach((assignment) => {
console.log(`${assignment.giver} -> ${assignment.receiver}`)
})

Itâs pretty much the same story every time. Fancy sounding bros raise a ton of money to reimagine social, spend it all to build the fancy tech platform, cry when no users show up, post on medium about hard the grind was, somehow get a ton of praise, become a VC.
Thanks nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev for the rebuttal episode. That article is truly mind boggling. Some of the comments on the original post that are wrecking my brain:
- âBitcoin is absolutely for fascists. It is for the libertarian mindsetâ
- âAs a practical matter, I assume anything the T Rump family gets involved in is actually nothing more than a griftâ
- âWhy are bitbros so obsessed with transaction speed? Because that's about all blockchain can offer - along with burning ridiculous amounts of powerâ
- 𤣠âI am also happy for human rights activists who use it to defend against de-banking by authoritarian regimes. But one must take stalk of the society-level and civilizational-scale implicationsâ
- âSince it's inception, it doesn't obey even the most fundamental laws of what constitutes money that we're taught at schoolâ

A great way to quantify your degree of procrastination. Find the browser tab of the thing youâre supposed to be working on, and then count how many browser tabs there are to the right of that tab.

Would you rather solo mine 1 bitcoin block or score 1 touchdown in the NFL?
I generally agree. But even Steve Jobâs original vision for apps were web based. While PWAâs arenât there yet, and wonât be for a long time, I think itâs a good goal to strive for though. Devs should build native apps first but also build PWAâs, resources willing, to continue to push it forward.

First things first. Do you use a square terminal and have bitcoin payments turned on???
Kind of funny how nothing ever really changes.

I'll be visiting CR in February, how can I get here??? Looks much more fun than a hotel gym.
I mean, if Google gave back the $12.37 ride fare then they should be all good right?
Would you rather use Bluesky than Threads???
Finally got to see a SpaceX launch last night. Very cool IRL.
