This “naked mole rat” (to quote the always astute Marty Bent) is either lying through his teeth (most likely) or is such a naive child that he has no idea that (e.g.) the SEC approving a company’s IPO is IN NO WAY an approval of all their business practices and compliance with securities laws

…because this is what a child does. They assume what they’re doing is kosher if it’s not halted immediately.

The Law does not “owe it to” criminals to punish them immediately. And perhaps, even, the lesson will stick more IF THERE’S A DELAY
