I unfortunately got sick, but not before I discovered some of the amazing things about Riga:
1. The public transit system is 💯! You never need to wait long. It’s clean. You can scan your card in multiple places so all the doors open and close!
2. The National Library is amazing! 5 floors of donated books plus incredible architecture and fascinating exhibits on the history of books, printing etc. Definitely worth a visit!
3. The food! I’ve mostly eaten vegetarian and it’s actually vegetables and not weird processed soy products!
3a. Everyone should adopt their style of cream cheese.
3b. Dark rye bread is the only rye.
3c. The carrot salad which looks like spiralized carrots is 😋!
3d. There is kombucha everywhere and it is very good!
The long distance 3 pointers are amazing but it’s her passing that puts her over the top as a player.

Primal but you need to pick topics first. Nos has 2 auto-follow accounts: the Nos account and one other. The Nos account so people know there is an update they can install!

Some inspiration for rethinking the social compute enabled experience:

How can we yoke ourselves to what they’re doing so that our relationship is no longer exploitative, but rather one where we’re putting existing capabilities to productive ends? That might mean adapting how we work, how we think, and what we’re building. But I can guarantee that whatever comes out of that approach will be more fascinating, generative, and sustainable long-term than what we have now.”
Particularly interested in new experiences that are non-exploitative. Living through Web 2.0 feels like surviving a slash and burn approach to co-existing with nature where there were some benefits but at such enormous costs.

I have a couple other accounts I use to make memes. I write stupid notes with them and then make quotes using https://quotestr.vercel.app. Also, I have accounts for testing when developing stuff so I don’t spam my followers.
This is super helpful. Test accounts make sense. For the others, what is motivating you to create a separate account for each activity? Why for example wouldn’t you use this one to promote Wavlake music?
If you put your nsec into a client, then that client has access to your nsec. The question there is, what, if anything does that client do with your nsec? So if you are on Primal, and you enter your nsec, does Primal send your nsec back to a server someplace and keep your nsec for nefarious reasons? This is why you might use a browser extension like nos2x or Amber on android.
In your last paragraph you discuss the servers (in #nostr we call them relays) being centralized. If you go to this page, and give it some time to load, you can see that there are hundreds of relays all over the world.

You are very safe from being cancelled on #nostr. But that doesn't mean anybody will pay attention to you. The concern is getting an audience.
Not all clients store the nsec in client. Many store it in the device keychain and equivalent for Android. They simply reference the nsec where it is stored on device.
Which means when you paste in an nsec, it is not always being stored by the app.
