Putin isn’t weak. He’s got a pact with neighboring countries like Belarus and Kazakstan to defend themselves in case of uprising or western sponsored color revolution. Chechnya is ready to defend Putin at all costs. Wagner almost started a civil war but he ain’t no Lenin and this ain’t 1917. Western analysts rarely give one the big picture. Putin isn’t weak and he doesn’t want world war.
Growing up in America in the eighties, I remember Perestroika and seeing Gorbachev’s hypnotizing birthmark on top of his head. That must have been subliminal messaging.
In all seriousness, we in the west were very hopeful that when the Cold War ended, the world would be a better, less divided east and west.
