𧑠you know your worth
While noble, I think most see banking the unbanked as a less profitable business and therefor not going to be successful
I am beginning to think you are right. It will be a long while before tech yuppies are made uncomfortable by the fiat system.
I was in Mendocino, rural coastal California with some this weekend. They were surprised a place so beautiful did not have a Whole Foods 𧑠gotta love βem lol
Ohh how I love Alice π§‘
Well, itβs been 3 years since the article was written. If no solution exists yet today, then my conclusion is that we need another bull market so btc companies can afford to pay competitive salaries and bring more tech talent into the industry π€·ββοΈ we need more people who have built successful B2C & B2B products.

When bitcoin hits 100k, the classic βIβll wait till it goes back downβ response will persist
Do you really believe itβs impossible?
nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc just read what you sent. nostr:npub13epj452d892app3mjath3uxgs9l03rylzxwkymdp50avukztmfeschauwt sent as well. My response is above.
Wow, well this resonates and highlights the problem but I am missing a solution in this article. Shouldnβt we solve this challenge rather than shrugging our shoulders? I say this without having an answer myself.
As a recruiter, I am seeing more tradfi yuppie Bitcoiners and far fewer tech yuppie bitcoiners. We need their talents in the ecosystem.
Has anyone had any luck orange pilling yuppies?
If someone has been served well by the system, gone to the elite institutions in the world and you tell them the establishment system is broken and wrong, itβs hard for them to take it seriously. From their point of view the system works very well.
Then the tech yuppies seem even more difficult to interest. They may even own some bitcoin but they think the opportunity has mostly passed. Being in tech, they are wired to look for the next bitcoin. Being over 10 years old, itβs old news, not cutting edge.
I donβt really broach the subject with my friends in SF. Some are founders of tech startups others are leaders in FANG companies. They have always been supportive of me and celebrated that I started my own company and are curious about how business is going but less so about the industry itself. While βdisruptiveβ is a buzzword they are all too familiar with, separation of money from state is far too disruptive to consider given they have faired quite well within the system that exists today.
π. Good on you for being active there though. It may not be as cool as Nostr but it is where we need to be conversing about bitcoin to increase adoption
I am going for a date this weekend

Wow I love this story π₯Ή. She looks like a wee little baby bear π
Excited to go to the coastal forest this weekend! What are everyone elseβs plans?
