Scam: https://x.com/0xbrk
Real: https://x.com/brkdotorg
Forgot to update the x.com links in many places after changing my username (from 0xbrk to brkdororg), I found out that someone was impersonating BRK via the 0xbrk username
BRK has no token and is Bitcoin only, now and forever
Stay safe

Added a table view for all the data stored by BRK where you can view datasets by index (dateindex/height/addressindex/txindex/....), it really helps to illustrate the power of the suite
I wasn't actually supposed to add it yet but it is very useful for debugging. As such it's still pretty basic, I'd like to add pagination and exports in the future but it'll do for now. Ping me if you'd like anything else added
#Bitcoin
I'll post a video in a minute it should clear things up
but it's basically a table view of the data stored by BRK
here we see p2tr indexes, addresses and in which height they first appeared

Friendly reminder that BRK can be used **today** !
It's just missing multiple datasets compared to kibo v0.5 (which is why it's still the version in prod), but otherwise it's much more user friendly and easy to use

Don't remember who asked for the possibility to view price in sats everywhere but here it is !
Now instead of having many separate charts for each "unit", there is one chart with multiple units
Check out the video below
Loooool why is it that every time a promising app or tool gets some VC funding or an nostr:npub10pensatlcfwktnvjjw2dtem38n6rvw8g6fv73h84cuacxn4c28eqyfn34f grant we suddenly never hear of them again or the quality and updates just seem to slowly fade away??? π€
Sad to see BRK not being seen as promising!
Released v0.0.20 LFG
https://github.com/bitcoinresearchkit/brk/releases/tag/v0.0.20
Benchmarked the indexer today:
- version: v0.0.20
- machine: Macbook Pro M3 Pro (36GB RAM)
- mode: raw
- from: 0
- to: 891_810
- time: 8 hours 27 min 3s
- peak memory: 6.5GB
- disk usage: 270 GB
Very happy with those stats
Spent the last two days optimizing brk_vec after discovering some slowness while working on brk_computer
Reading **all** outputs (3B+ values, 26 GB) takes 2.6s now
Summing them all took 36s and ended up being around ~9B Bitcoin which is mind-blowing
Pretty fucking fast !
Also, I'm looking for testers for BRK, still missing most datasets from kibo v0.5 but slowly adding them back
You can install it with Rust:
https://crates.io/crates/brk_cli
Or download a binary:
https://github.com/bitcoinresearchkit/brk/releases/tag/v0.0.19
Whichever is the most convenient for you

don't panic, stay humble, stack sats
A dystopian vision that is manifesting scarily fast, in 40ish years when tech boomers start to drop dead it will be a reality and the impact will be tremendous
We live in very interesting times
To late the discover land, to early to discover planets, just in time to discover AI, stay humble and stacks !
It can be interpreted in multiple ways
But I meant it more like we wonβt really know how things work, some will understand more than others and prompting is already in a way similar to casting a spell
Ideally yes there will be an umbrel/start9 version but gotta do the docker image first which I'm not super familiar with and once I figure out if the suite is actually runnable on a raspberry pi
Connecting to your node via a different computer should work though if you can access its filesystem
AI will turn devs into wizards
was going to do it later but fuck it
BRK is now available in binary format for Mac OS and Linux ! You don't have to build it with Rust anymore
Check it out:
Thanks to all the work that was put into BRK and its backend, adding new intervals is now very straightforward.
Some were interested in a quarterly interval, it's now available !

starting to look and feel quite decent
