Hmm, I added the whole GPL license to all of the files from Damus in the header comment and thought that was enough. What else should I do? Add a notice in README as well?

Amusingly it's doing a very human thing here. Making shit up instead of accepting it doesn't know. 😂

Nostr dream is coming true faster than imagined

Zucc seeing all the data gathered from fools using Threads

"Excuse me, why haven't you downloaded Threads yet?"

Nostr needs one-two click onboarding. That's crucial. It's the reason why a lot of people love Threads by the lizardman.

That's a foundation for spreading awareness to average people of the importance of decentralisation and censorship resistant social networks.

I completely agree with you. Still doesn't mean we can't get a bit more proactive about it.

A lot of people loves Threads simply because it was incredibly easy to move there and get ready with one-two clicks.

That's what Nostr needs the most currently IMO. Once we have one-two click onboarding everything else afterwards will be easier to work on.

Not true if we’re talking about average users unfortunately.

Key thing is to introduce notion of zaps to a lot of people who don't care about such technology. Even though a lot of people despise fiat I think some easy-to-use bridge between fiat and zaps has to be implemented as a first step when Nostr gets more and more popular with the wider audience.

I'm afraid those are the only options you have. Clients allowing users to enter their nsec directly is a huge security risk.
