This is the first thing that came to my mind. Maybe some parts could be useful or all of it.
Something like creating communities for creators to share their work. For example we have a community for digital landscape art. And people instead of zapping individual posts there, they'd zap the whole community. Zaps would be shared evenly between all creators. These communities would work something like NIP-172 you championed where creators would have to be approved first before they could be a part of it. Everyone else isn't able to post there but only to zap, like, comment, etc...
Interesting. Do you have some specific pain points with Primal UX you'd like to point out? How does Primal make it harder for you to get up-to-date with latest information on #Nostr as opposed to Snort? Do you expect to see something else when you fire up Primal, or is the navigation an issue for example?
Technically it's not the same. There is no option to send money through tweets on Twitter just like here on Nostr.
It's a shame they're using a technicality (possibility to pay for digital works) in their EULA to kill zaps...
Unfortunately, I don't see things getting any better. Recent EU laws on tracking crypto will be just a drop in the sea.
We would need to petition legislators to pass the laws allowing p2p money transfer, which is never going to happen unless it's traceable... It's not looking good for crypto I'm afraid...

Too many nostr posts link out to a Twitter posts, we need this to flow the other way.
I challenge everyone who has Twitter to at least once per week (ideally more) post a Twitter status that's just a link back to a good nostr post. Use primal, snort, damus, whatever you want.

The one which better indicates the amount of people my post has reached. Zapping is a cool idea in a world where most people have a disposable income. But we don't live in such a world.
