Who is Cassie what the hell is going on lmao I signed off for one day 😭
It’s incredible the difference in value received from scrolling #nostr compared to Twitter.
On Twitter I see: arguments, partisan bickering (never solutions-oriented), useless drivel, anger
On nostr I see: education, building, solving, sharing, a healthy mindset, happiness
I hope more of bitcoin twitter migrates here soon. Better engagement and conversation from any way you look at it. 💜
What site is this?

I’m an American of Armenian descent. Love the people of Turkey, but I also share concerns about those governing it (I have the same, I’d not more, level of concern for those governing Armenia too).
Any other Hunter S Thompson fans on #nostr? I just started this one. Truly hilarious and entertaining read. He had such a unique perspective on life, sports, and politics. Wish HST was alive today.

Wallet of Satoshi has worked the best for me. Idk what I was doing wrong but absolutely nothing could make Strike work on Damus. Almost certainly user error on my part, but wish I could have figured it out since I’m a big fan of Strike and Jack Mallers
Lmao ok my final rankings

3.) a zap
4.) likes 🤙
5.) a low-effort argumentative reply
6.) being reminded of glaring oversights in my posts 🤣
Interesting!! Also made me realize I totally forgot about the repost feature in my rankings 😂
Obviously there’s a pretty huge gap between 3 and 4 here
My personal ranking of nostr interactions:

Yeah you were clear. That person just chose to not respond in good faith. Bummer because it sounds like it would have been an interesting back and forth 🤷🏻♂️
We need to get Greg Foss more active on nostr! #[0]
Totally agree. The voluntary nature of a zap and the lack of a “pay-to-win” features of posts that receive zaps separates zapping from video game style microtransactions. An important distinction imo.
Part of me so viscerally agrees with this line of thinking. And another part feels like this is like EA/other game and app developers introducing microtransactions into everything. Microtransactions, while they have shown to have some staying power, are pretty broadly disliked by consumers. Curious if #[2] or anyone else has any thoughts on this and how nostr can avoid the feelings of annoyance and being “nickeled and dimed” that are often associated with microtransactions.
