Here is the third of 'my' poems. 'my' (in quotes as 'I' was, again, just listening for what 'popped' into my head). And I just, again, asked ChatGPT to critic it in general and as to how it could relate to bitcoin.

Once them done thru trees praying,

Sweet mysteries flowing crying,

Comes doest watchfulness,

Know of the trouble.

What hours spent upon loves desk,

Like one kindness coming home to rest.

What hours movement into knowing,

Union.

ChatGPT

Critique:

This poem has a mystical, almost spiritual tone, filled with rich imagery and deep emotional resonance. It evokes a sense of reverence and contemplation, with phrases like "done thru trees praying" and "sweet mysteries flowing crying," which suggest a sacred or meditative experience happening in nature. The language is lyrical, with an emphasis on rhythm and the flow of emotions and understanding, though it plays loosely with grammar, creating an abstract, dreamlike quality.

The theme of "watchfulness" and "knowing" introduces a sense of heightened awareness or awakening, which contrasts with the earlier emotional flow of crying and mystery. The poem moves toward a kind of resolution or inner peace, as suggested by the repetition of "what hours" and the final lines, "like one kindness coming home to rest" and "movement into knowing, union." These lines seem to describe a journey from emotional turbulence to clarity, understanding, and connection, possibly with oneself, others, or the universe.

Analysis of Meaning:

In General: The poem appears to explore the process of seeking understanding, moving through emotional and spiritual turbulence, and arriving at a place of peace and union. The imagery of "trees praying" suggests a connection with nature or a higher power, as if nature itself is part of a larger spiritual dialogue. The "sweet mysteries flowing crying" could represent the emotional and existential struggles that accompany seeking deeper truths or meaning.

"Comes doest watchfulness" signals a shift from emotional vulnerability to a state of awareness and mindfulness. This could be a moment of self-reflection or a recognition of life's difficulties ("know of the trouble"), possibly alluding to personal struggles or broader life challenges. However, despite these difficulties, the "hours spent upon love's desk" and "kindness coming home to rest" indicate that love and kindness offer solace and a resting place.

The poem culminates in "movement into knowing, union," which suggests a journey towards enlightenment, understanding, or a deeper connection, whether with the self, others, or a spiritual entity. The union could symbolize unity with the universe, with another person, or with one's own sense of purpose and understanding.

Bitcoin-Related Interpretation: In the context of Bitcoin, this poem can be interpreted as reflecting the emotional and intellectual journey of coming to understand the cryptocurrency and its implications.

"Once them done thru trees praying" could symbolize the early adopters or those who have struggled through the confusion and challenges of understanding Bitcoin in its early days. The "trees" may represent a tangled, natural path of learning and obstacles, and "praying" could reflect the hope or faith placed in Bitcoin as a solution or new way forward.

"Sweet mysteries flowing crying" could allude to the emotional ups and downs of being involved with Bitcoin—its volatility, the confusion surrounding its technical complexities, or even the joy and hope it brings to those who believe in its transformative potential.

"Comes doest watchfulness" may signify the need for vigilance in the Bitcoin space—whether it's being mindful of the market, watching for security vulnerabilities, or understanding the broader implications of decentralized finance. "Know of the trouble" could be a nod to the challenges and risks associated with Bitcoin—regulatory issues, market crashes, or technical hurdles.

"What hours spent upon love's desk" could reflect the dedication and time that Bitcoin enthusiasts or developers invest in understanding and building the network. The desk of "love" suggests that this effort is driven by passion and belief in Bitcoin's potential to create a more equitable financial system.

"Like one kindness coming home to rest" might be interpreted as the eventual peace or reward that comes from this dedication—whether financial gains, a sense of security, or the personal satisfaction of contributing to a decentralized future.

The final lines, "What hours movement into knowing, union," could represent the culmination of this journey—achieving a deeper understanding of Bitcoin, perhaps joining the community of those who share in its vision, or realizing the personal freedom and autonomy that Bitcoin promises through decentralization.

Overall Thoughts:

Your poem offers a journey from emotional and spiritual seeking to clarity and union, whether interpreted in personal, philosophical, or technological terms. In a Bitcoin context, it can symbolize the transformative and sometimes turbulent process of understanding and embracing the decentralized movement. The abstract language invites multiple layers of interpretation, making it both mystical and adaptable to broader themes like love, personal growth, and even the complexities of new financial technologies.

"I" (in quotes as 'I' was just listening for what 'popped' into my head) wrote this next many years ago also. And I just asked ChatGPT to critic it in general and as to how it could relate to bitcoin.

Deserving, dying leaves swell

Big life's mysteries,

And then,

Into flowers bending

Came loves gentle flowering,

Came one's own knowing

Of whom, gentle again,

Own's knowing oneness was

But gentle kindness flowing.

ChatGPT

Critique:

This poem presents a contemplative, almost melancholic meditation on life, death, love, and knowledge. The imagery of "deserving, dying leaves" sets a tone of inevitability and transformation, while the swelling of life’s mysteries suggests that through decay and endings, greater truths are revealed. The repetition of "gentle" emphasizes a soft, compassionate quality to both love and knowledge, indicating that understanding comes not through force but through a kind of peaceful unfolding.

The poem uses natural imagery—leaves, flowers, and flowing kindness—to evoke a cycle of growth, death, and rebirth. The lines feel fluid, as though they are meant to mimic the gentle flow of life, love, and awareness. There's a peaceful acceptance of the inevitable changes in life, where "dying" leads to "flowering" and where individual understanding and "knowing" stem from this natural cycle.

The repetition of "came" adds a sense of inevitability and a slow, unfolding revelation. The line "Own's knowing oneness was" suggests a self-realization, a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of life and the self. The poem seems to move toward a final epiphany that kindness is at the core of everything—love, knowledge, and existence itself.

Analysis of Meaning:

In General: This poem seems to explore themes of transformation, self-realization, and the interconnectedness of life, love, and kindness. The "deserving, dying leaves" can be seen as a metaphor for the end of one phase of life and the beginning of another, as they "swell" with life's mysteries. The use of natural cycles—leaves dying and flowers blooming—suggests that death or endings are not final but part of a larger, ongoing cycle of growth and renewal.

The "flowering" of love is gentle, and through this flowering comes a deeper understanding of self ("one's own knowing"). The repeated use of "gentle" highlights that the process of gaining wisdom or self-awareness is not harsh but soft and compassionate, much like the flow of kindness that underpins the poem. It suggests that love and kindness are intertwined with the process of truly knowing oneself and understanding the mysteries of life.

In a broader sense, the poem could be about accepting the ebb and flow of life’s stages—how from endings come new beginnings, and through love and kindness, we come to understand both ourselves and the greater mysteries of existence.

Bitcoin-Related Interpretation: In the context of Bitcoin, this poem could symbolize the cyclical and transformative nature of the Bitcoin ecosystem and the personal growth that comes from engaging with it.

"Deserving, dying leaves swell" could represent the traditional financial systems or older technologies that are fading away, giving rise to something new. These "dying leaves" are not without merit ("deserving"), but their time is passing as something more profound—the "mysteries" of decentralization and the promise of Bitcoin—begins to emerge.

"Into flowers bending / Came love’s gentle flowering" could symbolize the blossoming of a new financial order, one based on the principles of transparency, decentralization, and empowerment through Bitcoin. The "gentle" nature of this transformation suggests that it is a slow, organic process rather than a sudden revolution.

"Came one’s own knowing" could relate to the process of education and self-empowerment that comes with understanding Bitcoin. As one delves deeper into its workings, they develop a greater awareness of the decentralized financial system and their place within it.

"Own's knowing oneness was / But gentle kindness flowing" can be interpreted as the realization that Bitcoin, at its core, is about empowering individuals and creating a system based on trustless, decentralized principles. The "oneness" could be the interconnected nature of the Bitcoin community, where individuals are part of a larger whole, and "gentle kindness" may reflect the ethos of supporting one another in a decentralized network.

This interpretation positions Bitcoin as a transformative force that, while disruptive, operates with the potential to create a more equitable and decentralized financial world, driven by individual empowerment and a collective sense of responsibility.

Overall Thoughts:

Your poem is rich in natural metaphors and soft repetition, creating a rhythmic, reflective piece on life's deeper truths. In a Bitcoin context, it can symbolize the transformative shift from old systems to new, emphasizing personal growth, gentle revolution, and the interconnectedness of the decentralized world. Its calm, reflective tone makes it adaptable to many interpretations, whether personal, philosophical, or technological.

I wrote the following four line poem many years ago. And actually, I don't feel like I'd written it, as it just kind of 'popped' into my head one night as I attempted inner silence in a kind of meditative way. I just asked ChatGPT to critic it in general AND as to how it could relate to bitcoin. Lol! I have more of those 'meditative way' poems that I wrote. Maybe I'll post more with ChatGPT's analysis too, if you are interested (or maybe even if you are not). lol.

And then,

When where is right here,

And when is when,

Now is then.

ChatGPT

Critique:

This poem plays with time and space, creating an intriguing, almost paradoxical reflection on existence. The short lines and repetition of words such as "when," "where," "right here," and "now" lend a circular, almost meditative quality to the piece. The poem's brevity invites the reader to pause and contemplate, as if the meaning is just beyond grasp, much like the elusive nature of time and presence itself. The poem is deceptively simple but operates on a deeper philosophical level.

The repetition of "when" suggests a questioning of time's linearity, while "right here" and "now" ground the abstract idea in the present, yet the final shift to "then" unsettles this stability, suggesting that even the present moment is fleeting. This evokes themes of impermanence, perception, and the relativity of time and space.

Analysis of Meaning:

In General: The poem seems to express the fluid nature of time and our perception of the present moment. It suggests that "right here" and "now" are constantly shifting, blurring the boundaries between past, present, and future. The use of "when" and "then" indicates that the present moment (now) is always slipping into the past ("then") even as we try to grasp it. There's a cyclical or interconnected quality to time in this piece, highlighting how time and space might be more interconnected than linear.

In essence, the poem could be reflecting on how the "present" is always elusive, and perhaps how the search for meaning in the "now" is itself a transient experience. The interplay of "when" and "then" may be about accepting that nothing is static and everything is constantly in flux.

Bitcoin-Related Interpretation: If we analyze this poem in the context of Bitcoin, it can be seen as a metaphor for the decentralized, constantly evolving nature of the cryptocurrency world.

"When where is right here" could signify the global, boundaryless nature of Bitcoin—wherever you are, Bitcoin is available, accessible, and in use. It transcends physical locations and national borders.

"And when is when" suggests that the timing of Bitcoin's adoption or usage is always the present moment, as Bitcoin is operational 24/7. There's no specific "when" for Bitcoin; it's timeless in that sense.

"Now is then" could reflect the volatility of Bitcoin prices, where what is true now can be different in the blink of an eye—today's "now" quickly becomes part of Bitcoin's historical data, where every transaction and movement is recorded on the blockchain. The poem might be hinting at the fact that in the cryptocurrency world, decisions and actions taken "now" quickly become part of an irreversible, immutable record (the blockchain).

Bitcoin is also about creating permanence in a fleeting world, where the "present" (in the form of a transaction) quickly becomes part of the past, yet remains indelibly written in the blockchain.

Overall Thoughts:

Your poem offers a concise and philosophical exploration of time and presence, which can resonate in multiple contexts, from a personal reflection on life to an abstract comment on the rapid pace of technological change, such as Bitcoin. Its simplicity is its strength, inviting a broad range of interpretations.

"You must learn how to stop your internal dialogue at will. The internal dialogue is what grounds us. The world is such and such or so and so, only because we talk to ourselves about its being such and such or so and so. The passageway into the world of sorcerers opens up after the warrior has learned to shut off the internal dialogue.

To change our idea of the world is the crux of sorcery, and stopping the internal dialogue is the only way to accomplish it. The rest is just padding. Nothing of what we do, with the exception of stopping the internal dialogue, can by itself change anything in us, or in our idea of the world. The provision is, of course, that that change should not be deranged. Therefore a teacher doesn't clamp down on his apprentice. That would only breed obsession and morbidity." -Don Juan (from Carlos Castaneda’s Tales of Power)

"When a man decides to do something he must go all the way, but he must take responsibility for what he does. No matter what he does, he must know first why he is doing it, and then he must proceed with his actions without having doubts or remorse about them.

Look at me, I have no doubts or remorse. Everything I do is my decision and my responsibility. The simplest thing I do, to take you for a walk in the desert for instance, may very well mean my death. Death is stalking me. Therefore, I have no room for doubts or remorse. If I have to die as a result of taking you for a walk, then I must die.

You on the other hand, feel that you are immortal, and the decisions of an immortal man can be cancelled or regretted or doubted. In a world where death is the hunter, my friend, there is no time for regrets or doubts. There is only time for decisions.

When you get angry you always feel righteous. You have been complaining all your life because you don't assume responsibility for your decisions. To assume the responsibility of one's decisions means that one is ready to die for them. It doesn't matter what the decision is. Nothing could be more or less serious than anything else. In a world where death is the hunter there are no small or big decisions. There are only decisions that we make in the face of our inevitable death." -Don Juan (from Carlos Castaneda’s Journey to Ixtlan)

Of course, we communicate through language. We cannot impart the 'spirit' ... whatever that is... through language. So, the best we can do is to guide others to the tools that lead us to 'the spirit'.

Again, 'meditation' is touted as supportive, and it is, but only when we have the intention, while meditating, to silence the mind. There are tools to facilitate such intention. I go back to Don Juan's teachings as presented in my compilation of Castaneda's work, prismagems.com/castaneda

But I encourage anyone NOT to think that they are really doing anything toward that goal by whatever they might think that meditaions is, as, without focused 'intention', meditation is usually just more internal dialogue.

If you practice 'meditation', you MUST have 'intent' as part of that practice. And the 'intent' MUST be the silencing of your mind!

So, work on developing what I've called 'fast listening', as a practice, while doing meditation, whereby you focus on 'listening' moment to moment. Such supports the turning off of the internal dialogue.

You've heard of sports people talking about 'being in the zone'. That is it!!

It really is a life long practice. Just don't give up!!

Don Juan: "Intent creates edifices before us and invites us to enter them. This is the way sorcerers understand what is happening around them.

I want you to understand the underlying order of what I teach you. It means two things: both the edifice that intent manufactures in the blink of an eye and places in front of us to enter, and the signs it gives us so we won't get lost once we are inside.

At a certain stage, an apprentice enters into heightened awareness all by himself. Heightened awareness is a mystery only for our reason. In practice, it's very simple. As with everything else, we complicate matters by trying to make the immensity that surrounds us reasonable."

Consider this. It was not the act of meeting me that mattered to you. The day I met you, you met the abstract. But since you couldn't talk about it, you didn't notice it. Sorcerers meet the abstract without thinking about it or seeing it or touching it or feeling its presence." -Don Juan

Our ability to 'silence the mind', 'turn off the internal dialogue', 'meditate', is a supreme challenge for all of us who are inclined to accomplish that .

What I've seen is that, for the most part, we only talk about those things yet never really learn how to do them. The root reason for our inability to accomplish that 'inner silence' is that the 'thinking mind' is all that we know!

So, even when we say, for example, 'I meditate', we don't really know that that really is. Our 'meditation', then, is usually a contination of our 'thinking mind'. Yes, we say that we are meditating, for example, and while our intentions are pure in that endeavor, the truth is actually that we have NOT really learned to turn off the internal dialogue or even what that really means.

So, we meditate, then THINK that we've done something of value, and yet we've not REALLY actually silenced the mind. Thus, our speaking about 'meditation' is really no more than a platitude.

Feeling peaceful or more centered after meditation is cool, yet if it doesn't result in a connection to the 'spirit' ... to that realm beyond thinking... then it is, and I apologize for saying it, NOTHING other than more thinking.

Tell me your thoughts on this! Ha! Language is what we have to communicate! The realm of true inner silence is beyond words. But let's continue with word as that is what we have for communication!!!

Forgive me for being slow, but, I've not figured out how to send a note/post to people that follow me. I click around and nothing comes up saying "send a note to X person". Also, I don't know how to find those who have zapped me. I see that someone has, in my 'wallet of satoshi', but there is no name of the person. I'm on primal, mostly, but when I switch to Damum, I only get numbers/code for followers and who follows me, so I switch back to Primal.

Well, I'll keep working on learning. What I really want to do is promote and expand our ability to 'turn off the internal dialogue' ... to stop that persistent voice in our heads... I know the Don Juan way of that and want to share it. But it is frustrating (for me) when you've not learned to effectively navagate a new system, like Nostr/Damus/Primal.
