The burden of onboarding was taken.
Our aim is to step out the classical funding schemes from government and organizations like BUND cause they are closing the horizon how we can act and are burocratic.
So thought we just tell our story and hope for donations for what we do. But maybe you have an advice on this?

this is one of my favorite pictures from 2022. It is like always with those unexpected things.
Seems that we have a friendly home in our Polytunnel for all kinds of creatures. In this case we have some grassfrogs living in between of our tomatoes cuecumbers and other stuff.
I was really surprized and amazed about this, seeing them beeing there. And it was not just by accident. I spotted them regulary there.

the #tomatoes in the Tunnel are kicking off. This looks far better then expected due to the circumstances.
Outside the potatoes are growing their way on.
Unfortunately we lost many of the pumpkins to the slugs. We replanted some aditional plants.
I have designed a slug fence in #CAD and printed some of theese in PLA to have something compostable.

Our #chicken issue was finally resolved by the fox.

This is really dystopian and scary.

the orchard is about 5 km from our home. Will post the gps logs soon.
the main issue is exactly that. It is not straight out the door. Our management focusses on growing permanent and/or easy maintenance free things on the Orchard. Same time we have the luxury problem to actually already having a veg garden straight out the door. So it is also about managing multiple gardens cause the rest of the team has their gardens too. So we're focussing on things we do in scale in the orchard and growing the delicate things at home.
Water is an issue. Fortunately we have a well that was left from the farmer. It is just one of theese simple pipes sticked into earth to get water for cows. But for us a huge advantage.
I installed a solar system to pump it into IBC for the Tunnel. So we don't have to collect rainwater.

For me as a permaculture designer totally fascinating thus we sometimes try to immitate the colon of a animal for certain processes. So for me there might be a learning.

just started learning about relays and tried to enter into yours to learn about.

we have an #chicken issue.
One of our chickens has a plan.
I realized for quite a while now that one of our chicken is always missing and running around at the wrong side of the fence. Even electric fence is not holding it in. The chicken even returns after a while.
And now it is comepletely gone.
But it was easy to find cause made it's own pathway we just needed to follow.
And there she is, decided to hatch in the middle of wilderness.
I'm not the one to disturb animals if they follow their instincts.
So just gave some food and water.
Let the chicken be chicken.
