Mega thanks to @tokenasian for providing, setting up and running the audio visual equipment - you are awesome 🤩. Without you all the presenters would be shouting into the void without any slides to show.

Unfortunately, NOSTR streaming was not possible due to lack of bandwidth on the telecommunications network. Just one of the many issues faced by regional communities 😞.

Thanks to all the presenters. Without you there is no Bush Bash. Imagine a hall full of bitcoiners staring at a blank screen in silence. Not a pleasant image. It takes courage to front up to a room full of toxic ₿ maxis and other ₿ plebs and present your material. Kudos to you all. You provide the content and ₿ signal the rest of us take nourishment from. 🙏

I think we may have outgrown the Town Hall as a venue in Beechworth. Luckily, we have the Memorial Hall as a possible venue for 2026, or the former insane asylum Mayday Hills. Which one seems more appropriate 🧐?

It’s late at night and I have a few glasses of 🍷🍷🍷 under my belt, but I am grateful to have found a community of based, awakened, passionate, committed, awesome people who want to fix the money and fix the world. Hosting an event like the Beechworth ₿itcoin Bush Bash is a massive privilege.

Thanks to @WizardofAus and Bill for laying the foundation stones of a great movement. Non-KYC, pure signal, ultra-social ₿ events outside the fiat-fucked megalopolises. You are the OGs and the credit belongs with you.

We’ll start planning for 2026. The venue might change, but Beechworth will be the town.

Beechworth is a picturesque town nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps. This charming historic destination provides the perfect backdrop for an inspiring and fun-filled weekend. As the first Bush Bash of the calendar year, the Victorian team has been working hard to ensure it’s one to remember.

Accommodation:

Beechworth is ideally located for attendees traveling from all over the east coast and beyond. It’s about a 3-hour drive from Melbourne and a 6-hour drive from Sydney. Alternatively, the nearby Albury Airport is a convenient option for those flying in. A variety of accommodation options are available, ranging from quaint bed and breakfasts to cozy motels and boutique hotels in Beechworth itself.

Other attractions:

If you plan to bring family along or extend your trip, Beechworth has a wealth of attractions to enjoy. You can explore the historic Beechworth Asylum, take a scenic walk along the Beechworth Gorge, or visit the Beechworth Cemetery, which has ties to the famous Australian outlaw, Ned Kelly. Other attractions include the Beechworth Honey Discovery Centre and wine tours through the nearby Rutherglen, King Valley or Milawa wine regions. For history enthusiasts, the Beechworth Historic Precinct and Burke Museum are also well worth a visit.

This is a Bitcoin-only event, so please note that discussions will focus solely on Bitcoin. There will be no talk of "cryptocurrencies" in a broader sense. We are here to explore Bitcoin’s future and its role in our financial and technological landscapes.
