No — when I switched from bitcoin core to bitcoin knots on my Start 9, I did not have to do another initial block load. Bitcoin knots was fully operational within minutes of my installing it.
Go to marketplace, change the registry to Community Registry, and then search for Datum and Bitcoin knots. I had to uninstall Bitcoin core before installing bitcoin knots.

Just imagine if all of us had even a single Bitaxe solo mining with Ocean+Datum, or whatever other pool allows miners to create their own templates. No way anyone could censor Bitcoin then.

Ocean will send me payouts via Bolt12 — I just have to figure out how to create the order correctly. Working on that now. (I’m not very technical, but I’m determined.)
