Bummer. Sorry about that.

I don't envy you
You are totally correct. The schools call themselves places of education, but they are training. It tricks parents into thinking they don't need to contribute. In fact, the parent are and ought to always be the primary educator.
We need to differentiate between education and training. Education is the transmission of culture and values. Some training is necessarily inclusive in that, such as logic and language especially, but the sciences have no foundation, no real reason for being conveyed, unless the will is formed and can integrate the knowledge. Otherwise, it's useless memorization.
The real problem is that people confuse skills training and facts regurgitation for education. Education properly is the transmission of culture and values, which includes some training and facts memorization, but it is primarily about forming the will and character.
The ivy league zombie phenomenon is highly trained but poorly educated people.

Don't pay your Bitcoiner web dev with dollars. Buy bitcoin and send that!
Bitcoiners who own businesses often give a Bitcoin-only discount. Save a bunch of money by purchasing Bitcoin and spending it on that service you were already going to purchase!
(Yes, that includes me 🤙)

PS: look at that Nostr social button!
It's like Rust. The Rust compiler is written in Rust, so it literally builds itself. If you're thinking it's a chicken and egg type scenario, you're right. The first version was make in C++.
Nostr makes nostr documented.
I have been putting off installing Linux on my laptop. I don't know if I want a Windows 11 machine. I feel it'll be a downgrade.
100% He's not perfect, but he cares about freedom, less war, and making America great. I can't blame him for not being more suspicious of fiat because it's treated him so well. I hope he listens to Vivek on CBDCs.
There is but one. Insofar as Islam and Hinduism understand Him correctly, sure, but they have a poor understanding of Him. Judaism had a correct but incomplete understanding, and then He came as a man to reveal Himself and fulfill the law He gave Moses, which He summed into two commands: to love Him and love others.
Housing prices being up isn't good if you are an owner either. It's only good if you rent it out or are planning to sell. Otherwise, it's just a greater taxable item. A house shouldn't be an investment vehicle.
21MBTC @ $1B/BTC / 8B = $2.625M / person
... maybe ... I think that's a little high.
Depends on the job. This is okay if the job title is "arborist." A messenge carrier? Not so much.
Sweet! I figured I might not be the first
Right, and this is why it ought to include Web-of-Trust atop verifying by receipt. Amazon reviews are fake all the time—16k five-star reviews for bed sheets or plain salt and pepper shakers should be a red flag—so this would be a genuine improvement!
A friend of a friend saying it's good is worth 1000 anon reviews, and we are right to think so.
Buyer's protection is naturally at odds with seller's protection, as well. I got burned by PayPal and a disgruntled client once. I did work, then it wasn't to their liking, and paypal gave them my money "back".
WoT reputation? Add people you trust to a recommendation list, and run some sort of WoT-like calculation, plus uncensorable Nostr reviews with truly verifiable customers.
