Yes, of course that's true. But I have found that quite a lot of people start to recognize this when they understand the mechanisms of manipulation and then consciously pay attention to them. And I'm only talking about media manipulation.
In my case, I can hardly watch or listen to a news program without shaking my head. No matter from which side or from which country...
And I think your description of the mechanisms of deep indoctrination is very good.
I started thinking about this topic years ago when I read Walter Lippmann's Public Opinion....

What I also think is a good way to familiarize "beginners" with Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto's vision is this 6-part documentary by the French-German culture channel ARTE. All just over 10 minutes long and available in 6 languages. Let's see what happens next with an old iphone 6 ;-)

If you’re in the US, nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9 works really well, but requires KYC. nostr:npub1jfujw6llhq7wuvu5detycdsq5v5yqf56sgrdq8wlgrryx2a2p09svwm0gx is an option that doesn’t require KYC.

The problem for non-programming freaks like me is that Alby, for example, currently only allows new accounts by invitation code. What do you use then?

GM friends! I've finally found my way to Nostr. I'm more of a philosopher and artist than a programming geek, but I understand the philosophy behind it a bit. And that's great. The final straw for my decision to create my first Nostr account is that I trust Jack and Edward. That's it.
...Let's see when and if I get an invite to Alby or whether there is something similar. How to get a NIP-05 and whether this is necessary and so many other new things. with windows7 and iphone6 *laugh*. Let's see.
