Philosopher. Bitcoiner.

It is actually! High praise, thank you. I’m grinding it out today in every dimension. Pure grind.

Words are not coming. If I keep writing they must! Right? Right?

This is the power of philosophy… to reach even critics. Heck of a review. Read it. https://blockworks.co/news/philosophers-bitcoin-resistance-money

This is a perfect review of a landmark book. MUST READ.

Bitcoin is the people’s money. The network and its future belong to all of us. It’s not any better or worse than we humans.

Bitcoin’s flows of value? Millions of decisions. Gifts and exchanges. Someone is parting with one thing for something else, more valuable to them. Someone on the other side of that exchange is doing the same and both consider themselves better off in the aftermath… otherwise it wouldn’t have happened.

Bitcoin is just that, but scaled up to the globe.

And Bitcoin’s market cap reflects another human choice: to hold a non-debaseable currency over a debaseable one.

This thing is just preferences being manifested. The tech simply gave people another choice and another, more efficient and far-reaching way to do that.

There was a kind of libertarianism that shows increased rates of bitcoin ownership. Also self-identified libertarians were more likely to own it (still not very likely tho). But no relation on the right left scale or Dem-Republican.

Would you believe me if I said there’s no statistical relationship between political orientation and bitcoin ownership in the US?

Dropping a report soon, to that effect.

I can’t say I am great at it, and right now the scythe has a handle issue. Blisters today! But I still enjoy it. Have been scything for a few years now and also using my reel mower. Tell me about your experience.

I won’t be self-censoring, but will continue to say what I believe, but muting is very easy over here!

I'm excited to be joining this decentralised community. nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe recommended I made it my home. Here is a substack I wrote about being a guest on a podcast in Zurich with Jeff, my career in finance and epiphanies on inflation and BTC (its ultimately a spiritual thing).

Welcome! Will be reading.

Back from Oslo. Almost no sleep. Got up early and wrote a couple hundred words (low quality, but something), got the kids off to school, scythed the lawn, did a mace/ kettlebell workout outside in the back alley, played 10 minutes of Bach and now back to writing. NOSTR life off to a promising start.

That doesn’t seem to stop the rug pullers.
