Had to get my head out of the chaos.
My soul hasn't really had a canvas to work with over the past year. It's been wild.
Today I took my head out of it and laid out a foundation that I've been humming in my head and piecing together visually as I traversed the chaos in my personal life, while working within a chaotic circus we call our broader context.
My recording equipment is packed up for my move abroad. This off the cuff Raw rendition simply added to the melancholic undertones of the track itself. The grainy cell phone audio recording brought back such strong and vivid memories of when I first learned that I had some innate connection to stringed instruments. You can put any stringed instrument in front of me, and I would be laying something out for you within 10 minutes. In my head as I listen the layers are already formulated, I kept it raw and organic for now as I'm not unpacking my recording studio.
It's good to not forget to let your soul breathe every now and then. With whatever snorkel you have.
Here it is, first recording. Off the cuff. Might make this a habit.

That's because your intelligence quotient is too high.
You're such an inquisitive and curious individual (by design). You have never taken it for granted or sold that innate set of attributes out.
People like us cannot do it.
Don't even bother trying to understand. It's fairly simple: these type of 'people' are empty inside and need to fill the void left by being far removed from their own soul/nature with immediate gratification, whatever behaviour they need to act out to derive their sense of gratification from is on them. Hence, why you will never understand.
In this state of confusion, perhaps catalyzed further by your own need to understand things that peak your curiosity, you will reach to try to make sense of it. I'm the exact same way.
We are the type of people who don't know how to sell out. Like, we don't get it. Because we are hardwired to stay grounded and inquisitive. It's our nature.
They don't have that. They had a weak bond to themselves all along, and we are getting to an era where many people are being corrupted further by nonstop propaganda. These people who are far removed from who they are have had the nature nurtured right out of them. They will cling closer to the source that removed their bond with themselves from their very being because they essentially have become slaves to the entity that had the power to do that to them in the first place.
Without their understanding of the world, and themselves. They are empty vessels. And need guidance.
The alternative? Is for them to dig deep within themselves to find it. That involves work, hard work. In a context that has made them want to put less effort into everything. Much easier to simply reflect the behaviours of every other misguided fool, for a sense or semblance of belonging and an erroneous reaffirmation of their sense of self.
I don't know you and I love you lol. Because you vindicate my positioning in the world as a regular human being that has not gone the wrong way. We are limited, the few.
We are aptly represented as the minority population in Milgram's study, and the masses are represented aptly by the majority population found in Milgram's study.
We still critically think. People caught on the wrong side of improperly balanced priorities no longer critically think by choice. If they had to use their intelligence/logic... truly and honestly... they would arrive at the conclusion I just scribed. It's probably not a comfortable feeling to know you can't survive in a decent state of mental health without a nurturing hand. It's probably worse to keep stretching your own logic and arrive at the fact that you and the MAJORITY you followed are caught on the wrong side of a profoundly uncomfortable cross section of the truth, history and hence, the Bible.
