I gave someone their first #bitcoin last night.
I technically “paid” a kind young woman attending her first ever meetup for a quick interview.
She taught me the word for non custodial in Turkish is something like soğuk cüzdan.
Anyway, I sent sats and was immediately met with the question I always get:
“Great! Where can i spend it?”
She asked ever so politely but I lost my sh*t.

“YOU USELESS PLONKER U DO NOT SPEND BITCOIN.
ITS CALLED HODLING, IMBECILE.”
I then vented on X to my HODL friends and HODLed really hard.

Instead, Bitcoin and other freedom tools with be adopted grass roots style then all of a sudden there will be a billion of us. At that point the authorities will be better off joining us, and many of them will. Some will fight against it to the bitter end, but they will lose.

The success of Bitcoin and NOSTR is completely dependent on people believing in and using these protocols. It doesn't even need to be a majority of the population, just an unyielding group of psychos that I'm proud to be a part of.
We are ruled by a fascist oligarchy comprised of deep state operatives, corporate interests, and wealthy elites.
The "mainstream" media are a bunch of professional liars employed by the oligarchy to spin narratives that suit their purposes. Big tech is in on it too.
The only hope for us little guys is to develop and use tools to route around their control. This is why we use Bitcoin. This is why we use NOSTR. Power to the people.
Muun is fine in a low fee environment, but there could be some serious pain once fees go up.
NGU is hard to ignore.
This is the way, need to hedge out that debasement risk.
I only own Bitcoin. This is both a moral choice for me and because I expect BTC to outperform stocks and bonds for the foreseeable future.
I hope that Bitcoin defies expectations and doesn't have another post halving hype cycle wild bull run. Kill all the models.
