Bitcoin doesn't need politicians for it to survive, but bitcoiners do. If the regime in your country cracks down on bitcoin, it will make your life far more difficult. Just because you want to be left alone doesn't mean they will leave you alone.
From a pragmatic standpoint, if you're a bitcoiner in the US, it makes sense to vote for Trump. RFK jr. has near zero chance of winning and Kamala is more likely to be anti-bitcoin. Also, Trump has said that he will free Ross, for what it's worth.
You should always be suspicious of politicians. However, we need to realize that we're in or near the "then they fight you" stage, and there are enough passionate bitcoiners in the US and elsewhere to influence policy in our favor.
Though there is a near zero chance that my vote will have any impact given that I live in one of the most blue states in the US, I still will be showing up in November to cast my vote for the orange man.

Gender pay gap narrative is misleading. If you look at the data superficially, women are paid 80 cents on the dollar compared to men. When you control for hours worked and hazard pay, then the gaps narrows to near zero.
