Not a problem. On Nostr the concept of each one teach one applies.
Maybe alby having zaps will mean the load is distributed and WOS will go down less often?
The approaches I have seen are using paid relays (they can deter spammers). I still have to spend time looking into filters.
Since there is no cost to access, read and, more importantly, write to these relays, spammers and bot accounts will naturally gravitate to them.
Right now it is a private relay and I choose who can write on it.
I used an old laptop that I had. It can be run on a raspberry Pi.
I was just told I walk with a little more swagger since I started running a relay.
Looks like I’m up and running!
